Björn Epler is a tax consultant at BWLS in our Hamburg office. As a specialist consultant for restructuring and corporate planning (DStV e.V.), he has been accompanying restructuring and insolvency proceedings at the interface with insolvency tax law for many years and regularly deals with issues relating to income and sales taxation. In addition to auditing annual and consolidated financial statements under German commercial law, another focus of his work is tax advice to nationally and internationally active companies, particularly in the renewable energy, culture and media, and real estate sectors. He also specializes in procedural tax law and regularly conducts proceedings before the fiscal courts.
